A TipTop goal is to be on the lookout for products that lessen our impact on the planet. Limiting unnecessary packaging is one of things we are constantly working on. To that end, we offer a wide range of pantry items in bulk, from nuts, oats, beans, and popcorn, to rice, granola, and coffee. Most of our bulk is organic at very reasonable prices. Bulk products are always much less expensive than comparable packaged items because you aren't paying for packaging and advertising.
We love when our customers bring their own containers to fill with our bulk offerings. When you come in, just bring them up to the register beforehand so we can weigh them before you fill. Not only is this practice better for the planet, but it's also great for your wallet. You will especially see the difference with herbs and spices. Conventional spices in a grocery store are often $100 a pound (look at the shelf tag). And we have an amazing selection of herbs, spices, teas and more. Another plus is that our bulk is very fresh because of its quick turnover.
We also have many items throughout the store to reduce waste in the form of re-usable food wraps, alternatives to plastic drinking straws, travel mugs and food storage containers, and if by chance you've forgotten your containers from home, we have paper bags as well as sustainable recycled plastic and glass containers available to purchase.
